Our unusual programmes are reflected in our approach to managing the LYF. We keep overheads to an absolute minimum; working from a rent-free base in West Yorkshire.
We keep face to face meetings to a minimum (preferring to save time and money from unnecessary travel); and we benefit from in-kind support.
We truly believe that you will not find a charity that gets the most value out of the money we’re given. By donating to us, you can be assured that we try to direct as much of our income as possible to our highly innovative programmes.
We pride ourselves on keeping our running costs as low as we can, minimising overheads and finding creative ways to secure in-kind help.
We do not receive core funding, so your donation is incredibly valuable to us.

The LYF does not employ a professional fundraiser. This means that we would be over the moon if you or your organisation would be interested in carrying out a fundraising activity on our behalf.
