Are you a financial guru eager to make a meaningful impact? The Lorna Young Foundation (LYF), a small but mighty charity, is on the lookout for a Treasurer to help steer our strategic financial direction!

Who We Are:

Founded in 2003 by the inspiring Lorna Young, we support rural farming communities in low-income countries, empowering them through ethical certification, improved crop yields, and combatting climate change. Our Farmers’ Voice Radio program alone has transformed lives across Africa, Latin America, and Asia!

Your Role:

As our Treasurer, you will:

• Add strategic depth to our financial management and help maintain our fiscal health.
• Oversee annual accounts, provide oversight for our funding processes, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Serve as a vital resource to project managers and the executive team on budgets and funding applications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in financial management (charity or commercial) with a willingness to learn about charity accounts.
• A strategic thinker with financial analysis prowess and an ability to clearly communicate information.
• A proactive contributor ready to engage in the growth of our impactful initiatives.
